With Valentine’s Day approaching, I know I can’t be the only one who is stressing about figuring out what I will wear. But don’t worry–I’m here to remind you that you don’t need to drown in red and hearts to make a statement this Valentine’s season. Whether you’re spending the day solo, out with your partner, or hanging with friends, there are endless ways to elevate your outfit. Let’s break down a few looks that’ll have you slaying this season:

Anti-Valentines with the Girls:

If you and your girls don’t have any dates this Valentine, no problem! My go-to anti-Valentine’s look? All black, all the way. Think of it as a chic tribute to “mourn” past relationships or, let’s face it, the situationships that never quite made it. Dress head-to-toe in black and hit the city with your girls for a night of laughter and fun.

Cozy Galentines:

If you’re keeping it low-key this Valentine’s, whether it’s with friends, a loved one, or a solo night in, you don’t need to splurge on some Valentine’s Day PJs. Although Valentine’s sets are to die for, they can be expensive, and good quality can be hard to find. Instead run over to your nearest Michael’s, Dollar Store, or any craft store and buy some cute Valentine ribbon. You can add the ribbon to your hair, the straps of your top, or even to your bottoms. Its an instant upgrade to your favorite loungewear.

Got a Hot Date?:
After spending way too many hours searching for the “perfect” red dress, this Valentine’s season, I’m opting for simplicity with a twist. Instead of going all-in on one bold color, try a neutral outfit—black, white, denim—and add a pop of red or pink. This pop could vary from a red lip to fun tights, cool shoes, or even a statement bag. For a nighttime date, I would go for a classic black dress with a red lip and/or red tights. For a daytime date, I would go for a more casual look, possibly an all-white or denim-on-denim ‘fit paired with a pink shoe or scarf to spice it up.

With these tips, you can be confident and stylish without needing a special Valentine’s outfit.
