Men’s Soccer
Caleb Cole ’17 is riding a 5-game point streak, in which Gordon is unbeaten. Goalkeeper Josh Spoonhour ’17 has two consecutive clean sheets, both 1-0 victories.
Women’s Soccer
Keeper Kali Denty ’20 continues to make huge saves following her CCC Defensive Player of the Week award last week. Two consecutive wins, including a conference win over Nichols on Saturday, has the team on the upswing.
Volleyball
A come-from-behind 3-2 win over Wheaton was an emphatic home opener. Maggie Risma ’17 collected CCC Libero of the Week honors after posting 46 digs in just two matches.
Field Hockey
Gordon dropped the conference opener 3-2 against Salve Regina. The team has averaged an impressive two goals per game, paced by Sabrina Jandreau ‘20 and Emily Allcroft ‘18 with 4 goals apiece.
Women’s Tennis
An upset bid fell just short on Tuesday, in a 5-4 loss to Roger Williams. Abbie Denney ’19 and Justine Hanson ’19 continue to roll, at 5-1 and 4-1 respectively on the season.
Cross Country
Damon Kilgore ’18 continues to run away from the competition, winning another CCC Runner of the Week award after coming in first at the last men’s meet. Angie Epplett ’20 and Louisa Dodds ’18 finished inside the top 20 for the women.
