Nicholas Friend ‘20

When asked about his favourite fall attire and where he shops, Nicholas responded, “I tend to buy my clothes whenever my mom makes me and it’s usually at Target or H&M. I also like to get clothes at Savers because it’s cheaper and better for the environment to buy second-hand. 

“In the fall, I like to wear pants and a few layers because ya boy gets cold real easy. My favorite accessory is my La Vida covenant cord, but I also like my Warby Parker glasses.

I think they make me look smarter than I really am. I tend to style myself with colorful clothing because color makes everything cheerier. Pretty soon it’ll be too cold for just sandals so I’ll start wearing socks with my sandals.” 

Lauren Stochl ‘21

Lauren likes to get her clothes from the Loft clearance rack. “For autumn I like to wear warm colors and anything with ruffles! My favourite accessory is a statement necklace.

I’ve been told my style is classy and sometimes a little quirky. Lots of people think I dress like a teacher. I love bright colors, unique patterns (usually floral ones), and sheer fabrics.” 

Rachel Bovee ‘21

Rachel’s go-to stores for clothing are T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s, Forever 21, H&M and Francesca’s. For an Autumn look Rachel says “I love to wear boots, scarves, and jewelry, especially my rings. I like muted [color] clothes and then a pop of color.

I love maroon.”  She points down at her shoes, “these are my favorite boots I got from Savers! I have a variety of styles I like to wear, but usually it’s like chic, a mix between cute and a tiny bit edgy at times. I like to change it up and keep it fresh! I love making new outfits with old clothes.” 

Casey Hahn ‘21

“I do most of my shopping at thrift stores like Savers and Goodwill. In autumn, I love a good sweater or scarf. Fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons one of them being that I can wear all of my favorite colors like burgundy, olive green, and burnt orange. I think that accessories are a key part of my style. My outfit doesn’t feel complete without a hair tie, some earrings, or a scarf.”
