Recent News – December 2019

12/5 – Paul Edwards, Senior Vice President for Advancement, will retire from his position come mid-February after five years. In an email to the school, President Lindsay said that Edwards would then serve as Gordon’s Senior Philanthropic Advisor until the completion of the Faith Rising fundraising campaign. Mark Dillon, the former head of advancement for Wheaton College, will head up advancement for Gordon as they look for a new senior vice president.

12/5 – The search for a permanent chaplain continues. President Lindsay said in an email that they had several finalists, including Bob Whittet, and they expect to choose a candidate by mid-spring. Whittet will remain interim chaplain until the decision is made.  

12/6 – Tim Dalrymple, CEO of Christianity Today, visited campus to speak at convocation in conversation with the president about his career change from being a gymnast and the future of Christianity Today. Communication arts students also got to connect with Dalrymple over breakfast that morning.
